HOW ARE WEBSITE DESIGN AND WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT DIFFERENT?
Web design and web development are often used interchangeably, but they’re two very different parts of building a website.
Web design focuses on the look, feel, and experience of the site- how your brand shows up visually, how users navigate, and how content guides them toward taking action.
Web development focuses on building the technical foundation behind the scenes, coding functionality, and ensuring the site performs properly across devices and integrations.
Both are important, but most small businesses don’t need custom code to get started. My process focuses on professional design, strategy, and brand alignment to create a website that is beautiful, intuitive, and built to convert- without the extra cost and complexity of full development.
